Toll House: Serving Happiness

Guess what? I found a new restaurant located in the heart of downtown Angeles City. It’s one of the homegrown restaurants that we visited together with my blogger friends in Pampanga during our restaurant tour and it’s definitely one of my favorites!

Toll House is a family restaurant that has been serving happiness since February 3, 1988. It was established by the Concepcion sisters who were food enthusiast and loved to cook!

Their mission is to serve food that their family loves to eat – prepared lovingly using traditional methods. The menu is mainly composed of secret family recipes which makes eating at Toll House like you are coming home. Their food is inspired by home! No preservatives, cooked fresh with lots of love.

Among its popular menu items are Baked Macaroni, Lasagna, Clubhouse sandwich, Combination BBQ, Carbonara, Palabok, Halo-Halo, Seafood Supreme, Lengua, and Thai Fried Rice

Toll House is also well known for its cakes, pastries, and desserts like Black Forest, Pistachio Cake, Lola Nene’s Chocolate Cake, Sans Rival, White Chocolate, and many more!

The cakes are traditionally prepared and handmade by their culinary team

The food is prepared on a cook as you order basis to ensure its freshness

It started with a 25 seater dining room but as demand grew, it has expanded to 160 seats, and the restaurant has proven to be one of the most popular eating places in town.

When the Concepcion sisters were being asked about the secret of their success, they would simply say it is “Love and Passion” They treat their employees like family and they teach them to serve the customers as if they are their family.

Toll house is located at Angeles City, and they also has a branch in MarQuee Mall. Check them out and try their specialties!
