How to be a #SelfieExpert

Is there ever a time when you open facebook and you didn’t see your friends’ selfie? I doubt. Selfie? Everyone knows that word. It’s even in the dictionary now. Yes, it exist. Like duh? Everyone do this in their everyday life. (If not, maybe most of us) We are seeing different selfie shots circulating on social media. But the question is, how to be a selfie expert?

I, myself loves to take a selfie whenever I think I look good. I rarely post my selfies on social media because I prefer to ask someone to take a photo of me. But still, I do take selfies. (you can find them mostly in my twitter account or snapchat)

Well, I know I’m not a selfie expert but I want to share with you my five tips on how to take the perfect selfie.

1.Find the perfect lighting

This is the most important thing that you should consider. Lighting. If you want to achieve a perfect selfie, be sure that you have a good lighting. Natural sunlight is the best. You can do it outside or near your window.

2. Strike a pose, or more

One pose is not enough. Better do more, and try experimenting. Find your perfect angle. Before I post a selfie on my social media accounts, I take 5 or 6 photos, and even more in some times even though I already know where my angle is so that I can choose which is better. And by the way, (just a piece of advice) you can take a lot of selfies on your phone BUT don’t post them all on social media. One or two is enough.

3. Consider your background

Choosing the right background is very important. I prefer using using a plain white background whenever I take selfies, or any clean and plain colored background. So better do it on walls which I always do

4. Enhance your selfie

It’s okay to edit your selfies but don’t over do it. I also edit mine sometimes by enhancing its brightness and sharpness because of poor lighting that’s why it’s good to find the perfect lighting when taking a selfie or in any kind of photos which was mentioned in #1
