A staycation can be good when it’s the rainy season. You get the chance to rest and just relax, enjoy your time off from work, and avoid the inevitable stress that goes along with travel like planning your itinerary, catching a flight, and so on. – plus, it is more affordable!

Last week, my friends and I went to the dessert museum for a 2-hour guided tour. Since traveling to manila back and forth can be pretty toxic, we decided to book an accommodation at Azure Urban Residences for a quick staycation since it’s a holiday. We booked a 1 Bedroom unit in Positano tower that has a beautiful view at the balcony

The unit has all the appliances needed, cooking utensils, and other stuff required in the kitchen. So instead of going out to eat, we went grocery shopping in SM Bicutan which is 5 minutes away to buy food that we can cook and other supplies for our 2 days and 1-night stay.

It was raining during our stay, so we didn’t have the chance to explore the area. We spent most of our time sleeping, and of course, taking pictures.

Day 2 was quite gloomy because of the typhoon, but still, we were able to enjoy our stay.

One thing that you should remember if you want to stay at Azure Urban Residences, it is not a hotel so don’t expect too much and make sure to bring your own toiletries. The staff here are not accommodating compared to other places I’ve been to. You cannot also enjoy additional amenities unless you are a resident.

But still, Azure is a good option if you want an affordable and nearby staycation in the city, but if you have a budget, there are lots of hotels in the metro where you can have the best experience.
