Baguio will always be my favorite go-to place despite of the long drive. Few months ago, I went there with my friend with no itinerary. We left Pampanga at 3:00 AM and we arrived there at 7 or 8:00 AM. We tried different cafes that we haven’t tried before and we just walked along Centennial park also known as Botanical Garden.
Instead of staying in a fancy hotel, we decided to try glamping in Valleypoint Campsite. It is nestled in the mountains of Benguet that has a breathtaking view of the majestic mountains by day and a dazzling display of city lights by night. I want to stay at the tent but the weather is too cold! So, we booked the private room instead. It has a couch and table outside our room, and inside, it has 1 double-sized bed, 1 single bed, bathroom, and an empty kitchen area.
Aside from tent and private room, they also have shared rooms for backpackers.
Valleypoint Campsite has a chill area and it’s filled with bean bags where you can read your favorite book while looking at the view of Benguet’s verdant mountain ranges from afar. Campers are also allowed to play darts, jengga, and other different board games and card games here.
If you will be staying here, food won’t be a problem as they have a restaurant and mini bar that serves good food at a reasonable price. Unlimited Cordillera coffee is also available for free in the dining area to keep you warm anytime of the day.
My favorite time of the day! The place looks amazing at day and is totally mesmerizing when the sun sets.
Our accommodation includes a complimentary breakfast of our choice.
We ordered tapsilog, spamsilog, and of course.. coffee while looking this beautiful view
After breakfast, we played airsoft to get de-stressed before leaving. The gun has 150 rounds riffle and 1 gas reload. I believe they already have the archery and other activities by this time. (We went there last February and it was still on preparation)
Then we spent the rest of our time taking pictures and sitting at the view deck, appreciating the beautiful view before we check out.
Honestly, my overall experience is not a hundred percent good. Some of the staff wasn’t able to meet my expectations but, it was still a great experience. Once you see the amazing view right there, you will forget everything. The quiet and soothing ambiance made my stay truly worthwhile!
If you love camping like I do, you’re going to love this new campsite located in Green Valley, Tuba, Benguet, this is a place you wouldn’t want to miss, a place to reconnect with nature, and most importantly, with yourself.
